Baba Ramdev, BJP and Politics ...

So, Baba Ramdev (BR) wants to float a political party, and BJP wants Baba Ramdev to shun his plans lest Hindu votes be divided! See the news item here.

Baba Ramdev wants to arouse the self-respect of Bharat, and Gadkari of the BJP assumes that BR will be representing Hindus. Hence his fear that BR will eat into BJP's Hindu vote bank.

In this way, the confusion regarding India, Bharat and Hindus starts all over again! BR is replacing India with Bharat. One more emotional technique to trap unsuspecting, gullible, and frankly speaking downright stupid Hindu citizens.

BR claims that he wants to promote Yoga for all Indians, and is busy establishing his secular credentials (presumably) by teaching Yoga to Darul Uloom Deoband. BR also recommends 50 percent quota for women.

So when I say that Indian blood has been so deeply poisoned by this Mohandas and Jawahar that secularism (read sacrificing interests of the adherents of Sanatana Dharma), and affirmative-action (read sacrificing interests of healthy upper-caste males who are adherents of Sanatana Dharma) form their logical core; I am not exaggerating a bit! Indian politicians, past, present and aspiring ones, betray the poison unabashedly.

Gadkari wrongly assumes that BJP represents the interests of the Hindus. Never mind the confusion regarding the term Hindu. We take it to mean Hindu-WOL. And he wrongly fears that BR will divide Hindu votes. BJP and the party that would be floated by BR, are both secular Mohandasian, Jawaharian parties pretending to be protectors of Hindus.

And lest it should give my readers the impression that others like the Congress are any better, I must mention that Congress, the Left and the rest do not even feel the need to pretend. They are blatantly anti-Hindu, anti-upper-caste-healthy-hindu-male.

Nevertheless, I recommend that let there be many parties who pretend to be Hindu-protectors, which can later be forced by the will of the Hindu people to be more and more pro-Hindu; and who compete with each other to be more and more pro-Hindu. This should exactly be similar to the situation now where all political parties (certainly including the BJP and future party of BR) are competing against each other to be more and more secular.

So BR is welcome to launch his political party, but Hindus beware, his party will be as secular as they come!

The need of the hour is to detoxify the effects of the poison of Mohandas and Jawahar. BR is extremely prone to fall prey to Mohandas instincts; as A B Vajpeyee fell prey to Jawaharian instincts!

  1. Sorry the comment was automatically deleting so 2 3 times I had to upload comments...
    1. 50% quota for women.First let the 33% of women quota be successful. Then if really there is a need, then it can be raised to 50%.
    2. Mr. Samalochaka you, we recommending or not, as long as the people are divided, and they are being divided, Political parties will divide, form new, finally leading to; DIVIDE in VOTE Bank and yet another Hung Parliament...
    3. But I felt that as an author/Indian citizen you should not state- "recommend the creation of new parties". Because eventhough the intent is right in such a statement;
The parties(BJP, umabhaaratis party, Shiv Sena and now so called BSA) otherwise are also pretending that they are Pro Hindu and are competing.
I feel you meant more and more Pro-Hindu WOL by stating Pro Hindu right?
The last statements, AB Vajpayee fell prey to "Jawaharian instincts"...
Can you please provide more explaination, since readers can be misled to think so many instincts.

The article is really good and I appreciate the intent of the author.

    0. This is a request for all readers. Please make your comments and questions as focused as possible. You are free to ask many questions. Making diffused comments, or asking diffused questions makes for a directionless discussion. Thanks.

    1. I am fundamentally opposed to quotas, whether 33% or 50%.

    2. People having differing opinions need not imply that people are divided. Vote bank is another matter. Hung parliament is not necessarily a bad thing. In any case, I do not prefer parliamentary democracy, at least at the center. Further, we can not address these issues without getting into the aspect of Electoral Reforms. That is too huge a topic. And this was a highly diffused comment by you.

    3. If BJP, Shiv Sena, etc., are there; then addition of another party should not make you worry. It, albeit quite unlikely, will make a huge difference in which case it is a good thing; or it won't make much difference in which case it does not matter much. In either case, it is OK. I can hardly conceive a scenario wherein it is highly detrimental. So I still prefer mushrooming of these pro-Hindu parties.

For this discussion Hindu = Hindu-WOL.

I meant that more and more pro-Hindu-WOL could be expected to emerge from a competition among pro-hindu-WOL parties.

Pro-Hindu-non-WOL are not pro-Hindu at all. They are, either by design or stupidity or both, masquerading as pro-hindu, but are essentially destroying the cause of the Hindus-WOL.

BJP, Shiv Sena, UmaBharty's party, all of these are guilty in this regard. Some are more guilty, some are less.

    Examples of the above guilt:

    a. BJP regretting demolition in Ayodhya.

    b. Shiv Sena chief arranging for the release of film personality who was imprisoned under POTA.

    4. A B Vajpeyee has had all the instincts that Jawahar had had :-) If you know of an instinct that J had and ABV did not, please do mention it.

  3. Any one who is interested in preserving H interest can not exclude some political party out of his/her consideration irrespective of its history and track record.
Those who are criticising Gandhi & Jawahar, Vajapayee & Advani, Congress & BJP are missing the long term strategic goals. It is possible that they may not even tactical as they are not offering methods to convert Congress to BJP and Sushma to Sadhwi Pragna Singh.

    Sam replies:

    SDN makes an important point.

It depends upon what is meant by exclusion. Whether it is on a case to case basis, and temporarily; or whether it is final and irrevocable.

One can surely "exclude" political parties until the time when political parties indicate a change in their political stance.

To be inclusive merely not to be exclusive would mean committing the same mistake as the so called Hindutva brigade has been doing in trying to include everyone!

    1. Can you exemplify how the "long term strategic goals" are being compromised?

    2. Why should BJP be THE role model?
